Maybe you’re struggling with feeling like there’s never enough of you to go around, for your loved ones, your family, yourself, everyone.

A dining area with a round wooden table, four gray upholstered chairs, a white sideboard with a potted plant and an open book, and a large white vase with flowers on the table. There are donuts on a napkin and a glass of water.

You’re wondering if it’s even possible to crave space for yourself without feeling like you’re letting everyone down.

You’re terrified that if something doesn’t change soon, you’ll burn out completely.

You’re looking for a way to finally feel steady and rested — without sacrificing your relationships, your goals, or yourself.

You’re so excited by the idea of waking up without dread, feeling steady through your day, and still having energy left for the people and things you love.

You just want quiet mornings, guilt-free evenings, and weekends that actually feel like weekends, without the mental checklist running in the background.

Geri Lopez, LPC

I’m Geri (she/they), a queer therapist specializing in working with women and queer adults navigating identity, complex trauma, attachment patterns, people-pleasing, and more.

I guide clients on how to lead with their nervous systems: building boundaries, strengthening relationships, and develop lives that feel grounded, without the overwhelm.

Who I see…

For individual therapy, I work with folks who are figuring out their identity, experiencing life transitions that feel overwhelming, tackling academic challenges, and exploring how to level up their parenting skills.

I provide supportive, gender and cultural affirming care for first gen. women and LGBTQIA+ adults.

My Identity & Values

And now I help first-gen therapists just like you stop overgiving, heal burnout at the root, and build lives that feel balanced and mutual.

I’m a gender-fluid, Latinx, queer therapist. I’m also bicultural, bilingual, and an East Coaster who loves pan con cafe.

I believe that all parts of who you are matter. Your identity, your culture, your experiences; they’re all connected. Because of that, I’m intentional about creating a space where you don’t have to shrink, translate, or hide parts of yourself. You get to show up fully here.

I value honesty, collaboration, and care that feels real. You don’t have to get it perfect here. Your voice matters, and we move at your pace.

Pan con Cafecito is a non-negotiable part of my morning ritual — it’s my first boundary of the day.

There is a pink office chair, a white desk with gold handles, a laptop, an open book, a backpack, and a window with a view of mountains and trees. The wall behind the desk has framed art of animals, and there are pink shelves filled with books, decor, and a large letter 'A'.
